so things got drastically better today: we debated music and politics in resistance politics today, and then listened to music that my classmates brought to share - I submitted some nina simone, fabrice brought mos def, ari brought dar williams... i love professor price.
class ended a little early, so i headed over to professor chernoff's office to chat with him. i told him i wanted to go for the certificate in environmental studies - nearly a second major as far as credits go, but interdisciplinary, incorporating economics, government, environmental studies, philosophy, and biology - and he was stoked. we listened to blues and the abstract truth while we chatted about my studies, creating an individual tutorial next semester (swoon!), possible aquatic biology classes for next year, and the process of forming a student advisory committee for the certificate program. glow. :D
