i HATE packing. adam knows i'm awful at it, my parents have come to expect it, the dog ends up staying awake all night because of it, and my brother takes it as an opportunity to steal my stuff.
i'm taking two suitcases this time, no boxes. a stroke of then-genius last spring compelled me to ship most everything from my house home so that i could sort through it all and be super-prepared for what used to be "next year."
that didn't happen. until now. and i'm driving to san jose, to get on a plane, in two hours.
the two suitcases are full. what's left out: my running shoes, my street shoes, two sweaters, a fleece pullover, my nice pants, books, a small desklamp, toiletries, all of my recorded music, and my wesleyan stress ball.
